The NCAA has supspended a rules change that would have sent the class of 2014 prospects into pandemonium. The NCAA suspended unlimited communications to prospects which include

- The  Proposal  which would have allowed for unlimited contact initiated by college coaches to recruits beginning this Fall on September 1.

- The proposal aloso called for the elimination of the requirement that only a head coach or assistant coach could perform the functions of a recruiting coordinator.

 - Plus the colleges would have been allowed to send a prospect unlimited recruiting materal via mail.
